HI I’M SAMANTHA MAKSUD

Just a Texas girl living in a big world!

I am an avid traveler and love spending my time exploring the world. When I am not traveling I enjoy expanding my mind with books, volunteering with local organizations, and spending time with my family and friends.

I graduated High School and College in Texas where I have a BA degree in Anthropology and a Minor in Business Administration from Baylor University. During my time at Baylor, I was involved in the Alpha Delta Pi sorority, had a job working for Baylor University Football as a student video coordinator, and was a part of the Lambda Alpha Anthropology Society.

I recently completed my Master's Thesis from Duke University in the  Masters's in Liberal Studies. My Master's thesis, entitled "Me, Myself, and I: Understanding Identity Denial in Multi-Ethnic and Multi-Racial People in White Settings" was completed and conferred as of April 2023. 

 

I currently work as a Marketing Support/ Customer Engagement specialist at Revian, Inc. where I deal in cross-functional roles of customer support, marketing/social media creation and management, User Experience/Design, and more. My career aspirations range in Academia, Human Resources, Business, Public Policy, and Marketing. My Graduate and Undergraduate studies consisted of Cultural Anthropology, Marketing, Entrepreneurship, Statistics, UX Research & Design, Data Science, and more.
